BIO

I was born in Columbus Ohio and am the oldest of seven children.  I am predominatly of Irish and Italian decent.  My father owned a heavy constrution machinery company.  My mother was a homemaker.  I grew up as a Catholic attending Catholic grade schools and high school.  I graduated from the University of Notre Dame and was awarded the Jacques Gold Medal of Fine Art the highest honor for a BFA graduate.  I was also awarded with a graduate assistanceship at the University of South Florida in Tampa.  I graduated  with honors earning my MFA in painting.  I have been teaching painting drawing digital art and animation for over thirty years.  My art is in collecftions across the USA and the world including the Snite Museum and the Florida Museum of Art.  I have won many awards for my painting including the Corcoran Gallery of Art and the Ohio State Fair.  For more information please read my resume.
